APIA supports and coordinates initiatives that align with its public-interest mandate. The organisation’s work is thematic in nature and focuses on areas where improved access to information, education and public understanding can contribute to better social outcomes. APIA does not provide direct services, advice or advocacy. The organisation’s role is to support the development, stewardship and coordination of initiatives that serve the public interest.
